Many people don’t realise but grey squirrels are an invasive species and are causing serious damage to the native red squirrel population through spreading disease, damaging woodland by bark stripping, and of course, damaging property through gnawing. It is against the law for squirrels to be re-released to the wild and they must be controlled.

Most domestic problems with Squirrels are caused by squirrels entering the attic space. They will cause noises, often prior to dawn, and will cause significant damage from gnawing building material and electrical cabling.

Infestations can be identified via droppings and the type of material found in the affected area, It can sometimes be hard to clearly identify the infestation on the first visit, so we often utilise night vision cameras to identify the squirrels.
